A considered renovation and extension to this double-fronted Victorian, balancing retained heritage detail with a clean, modern rear addition. The brief focused on improving flow, light, and everyday function while respecting the home’s original character.

The project delivers three to four bedrooms, a dedicated study, two bathrooms, and flexible living zones. Soaring ceilings and a north-facing rear bring strong natural light deep into the home, while the open-plan kitchen and living area forms the new heart of the house.

Material selections were kept tight and durable, including natural stone and tiles from Signorino and engineered oak floorboards from Woodcut. Custom elements such as the built-in banquette, bar, and gas fireplace were integrated to maximise both useability and finish quality, alongside a generous main bathroom with freestanding bath and a full suite of Asko and Bosch appliances.

A solid outcome that respects the original home while delivering a practical, modern family layout.
